Flight Controls Lab — an interactive 3D Cessna 172 for student pilots

A free browser simulation of a Cessna 172 Skyhawk's flight controls. Move the control yoke to deflect the ailerons and elevator, the rudder pedals to swing the rudder, the trim wheel to move the elevator trim tab, the flap lever through its four detents, and the throttle to set engine RPM. Wind-tunnel streamlines show the airflow over the wing and tail, and the aeroplane rolls, pitches and yaws in response. Every hinge line and deflection limit is taken from the real aircraft. Built by Allon Mason.
